The primary sources of information are parent company (American and Foreign) annual reports, press releases and other public and private print and electronic publications. Direct telephone and fax contact is used extensively for verification and clarification.
In light of expanded globalization of many companies and brands, we have expanded our editorial policy to maintain “well-known” branded organizations that have been acquired, or merged with holding companies and have not been directly integrated into the parent company organization and maintain a stated world headquarters.
Firms are included based on several criteria; size, industry, foreign locations, and quality of data. Parent company contact information is included for all firms; however, our goal to include foreign subsidiary/affiliate contact information faces on-going security considerations, and traditional high staff turnover.
The aim of this listing is to provide accurate, up-to-date listings. However, the Editor and Publisher cannot guarantee that the information received from a company or other source as the basis for an entry is correct.
